Notes: This volume is normally available, in hard copy format, through bookstores, the publisher or the author's (my) website at cityoflegends.com. It was my decision, as the author, in honor of National Poetry Month 2007, to release this volume as a free eBook, through the auspices of archive.org.

Description

These are the pdfs of both the entire contents, including annotations, table of contents and forewords, and the covers of William F. DeVault's 2005 issuance of the entirety of his 1996-1997 "poetic diary of a love affair", The Panther Cycles.

Over 640 poems. More information available through the forewords and annotations in the volume. Through a bookstore, this volume costs between 25 and 40 dollars and has a shipping weight, softbound, of three pounds.

Subject: Thans for making this more available
An incredible read, now virtually weightless.

My only problem with this book has always been, and remains, the brevity of the annotations...I would have loved to have heard more exposition on the subtext of these 640+ poems.

The inclusion of the cover as a separate download is a nice touch for those of us unwholesomely attracted to model Jillian Ann's woman-child eroticism.

I like the fact I can open this book and do a text search for key passages, find a title I wasn't sure of where to find it, etc. The quality is as good as the hardcopy, the utility of it is undeniable.

Of course, not having to fork over almost 40 dollars is nice, as well. Thanks to the poet and to archive.org.
